Dofollow Business Blogs

When to make your blog dofollow. Fire Finch SEO blog is a dofollow blog and will stay this way indefinitely. Why? Firstly, I’m not writing here for the page rank, I’m writing for the exposure. Second, with Matt Cutt’s revelation that nofollow links are basically just PR sinks anyway and do not cause Page Rank to flow through to the pages whose links you choose to keep as dofollow links there isn’t much point for me to even be tempted by applying nofollow to comment links.

Whether we like it or not, 50% or more of comments on  dofollow blogs probably wouldn’t  be there if the blog was not dofollow. People want that Page Rank bad. If the blog was the actual source of income for a person or business maybe this would matter. But most businesses use blogs for exposure, for traffic, to draw attention to their main website. The main website – that’s what does the selling. So attracting more people and successfully keeping their attention via a dofollow blog is often the best thing for businesses to do. After all, traffic is what the business blog is for – not Google Page Rank.
